Nobody can resist the magic of Gstaad. Anyone who has been there goes back. Music at the highest level in a dual sense, inspiration and exchange - and all of this in front of such a backdrop!

Ayaka Taniguchi, Violist from Japan

Being in the middle of a world famous music festival was continually inspirational. That includes meeting musicians listening to musicians learning from musicians and also working with them. There are breathtaking views from where we stayed and making music with new friends from all around the globe, there is nothing like it. Having master classes with one of the greatest cello teachers in the world has set me up for months to come. The 10 days I spent in Gstaad I will remember for a long time.

willard carter, cellist from the uk

During the 10-day intensive courses, I had the unforgettable opportunity to receive exceptional lessons from renowned professors. Also, I could learn through performing chamber music together with the professors and international friends I met there. The historic and unique setting of Gstaad, with its breathtaking nature, beautiful churches, and inspiring concert halls, provided the perfect environment for musical growth.

Jacques Forestier, Violinist from France

I had a wonderful time performing and learning at the Gstaad Festival Academy. The festival is in the most inspiring of locations where you're surrounded by dream-like beauty. Fantastic chamber music partners, musicians with tremendous wisdom, and a fantastic schedule that enables you to focus on your individual progress as well as the opportunity to hear world-class concerts just a few steps away, is what makes it a highly rewarding experience!

christel Lee, participant from USA

It was a great honour to be in Gstaad and to have the opportunity to work and perform there. And especially to be in this very special place which is Gstaad, with all of its history and connections to the past and of course, Menuhin. The Academy was definitely one of the best programs in which I have taken part, and I only hope that this tradition and support for the Academy can be continued for the many years to come.
