Regulations

The master class is free of charge.
The only charges to be paid by the participants are the travel costs, meals and accommodation.

Travel expenses to and from the event must be paid by the student.
Please ensure to arrive on 21 August 2026 and to depart (i.e. check-out) before 10am on 27 August 2026.

A limited number of rooms is available at Gstaad Sport Lodge. Upon request, the Gstaad Academy will organize respective accommodation (A deposit in the amount of CHF 100.- is required from the students for their accommodation which will be returned at the end of the course, provided that the accommodation used - i.e. rooms, kitchen, recreation rooms - are in a proper state).

Individual accommodation:
The Gstaad area offers a large variety of accommodations (hotels in all categories, group accommodations, youth hostels, etc.). Participants are responsible for making their own reservations; accommodations are not included in the fees.

The provision of food is within the participants’ responsibility.

Participants are expected to bring their own music for the course.
We explicitly point out on the fact that all scores for the coaching (also piano scores) are to be brought by the respective participants.

The participants are requested to send the list of their repertoire in due time.

All active participants in the master class will obtain a “Menuhin Festival Vocal Academy” certificate.

Students must declare that they are willing to create diary entries or post information on Facebook, and be prepared to give short interviews.

The Menuhin Academy retains all rights in respect of photographic or video materials which have been created during the course or recorded at the final concerts.

Students are responsible for obtaining visas and paying visa costs.

Students must also pay for their own insurance.
