Regulations

The master class with Sir András Schiff is free of charge.

Participants are responsible for all other costs (travel and food) except accommodation.

Travel expenses to and from the event must be paid by the participants.

The Piano Academy will be responsible for the organisation of accommodation and accommodation costs.
Participants will be residing single bedrooms (partly with shared shower/WC, kitchen and recreation rooms) in Chalets in Gstaad.

The provision of food is within the participants’ responsibility.

A deposit in the amount of CHF 100.- is required from the students for their accommodation which will be returned at the end of the course (provided that the accommodation used - i.e. rooms, kitchen, recreation rooms - are in a proper state).

In principle, participants are expected to bring their own music for the course.
Once accepted, the participants will be requested to send the list of their repertoire.

All active participants in the master class will obtain a “Menuhin Festival Piano Academy” certificate.

The participant will try to make every effort deemed necessary by Menuhin Festival Gstaad & Academy AG to promote the Academy in the context of the Menuhin Festival Gstaad.

The Menuhin Festival Academy retains all rights in respect of photographic or video materials which have been created during the course or recorded at the final concerts.

Participants are responsible for obtaining visas and paying visa costs.

Participants must also pay for their own insurance.
